Golden hour at the park's greatest hits

3.5 hours$190 / adult

Spend an unforgettable Moab evening in Arches National Park. Sit back as your professional local guide takes you through the park on a relaxed 4x4 excursion that pairs scenic dirt roads with easy walking paths — perfect for all ages. We enter from the backcountry near Utah Raptor State Park to see fossilized dinosaur tracks, then roll past Balanced Rock, the Three Gossips, and Courthouse Towers, with short walks to the North and South Windows. We cap the evening at the towering monoliths of Park Avenue, where the setting sun paints the canyon walls in brilliant amber and gold.

Where you’ll go

  1. 1

    Skyline Arch

A photo opportunity at Skyline Arch to start the evening.

  2. 2

    Balanced Rock

Standing over 128 feet tall, Balanced Rock is one of the park's heavy hitters — and far more than a photo stop. Your guide shows how this 3,500-ton block of Entrada Sandstone balances atop a shrinking pedestal of softer Dewey Bridge mudstone: a real-time demonstration of how different rock layers erode at different speeds, and a reminder that this ancient landscape is always changing.

  3. 3

    Lower Delicate Arch Viewpoint

No trip to Arches is complete without its crowning jewel — the Icon of Utah. Your guide offers a short walk or an off-road pull-off for photos.

  4. 4

    The Windows Section

The highest concentration of massive spans in the park — North Window, South Window, Turret Arch, and the towering Double Arch, whose cavernous openings starred in the opening scene of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Beyond the movie magic, you'll learn how these amphitheaters were hollowed out from the inside, creating some of the most dramatic overhead architecture in the American Southwest.

  5. 5

    Courthouse Towers

A stop at the Courthouse Towers for a photo opportunity among the desert giants.

  6. 6

    Three Gossips

A stop at the Three Gossips for a photo opportunity beneath these towering sandstone figures.

  7. 7

    Park Avenue

We cap the evening at the towering monoliths of Park Avenue, where the setting sun paints the canyon walls in brilliant amber and gold — the perfect vantage for postcard-worthy sunset photos, no strenuous hike required.

Routes flex with conditions, light, and your group — your guide builds the best possible day.
